Positions

Web Products Account Manager

This person will be responsible for the lead generation and sale of a niche web product. Vermont alone has hundreds of prospective clients and this position is not limited to sales in Vermont. Compensation is entirely commission and is a large percentage of a very affordable recurring revenue model. This web product addresses a significant need in the vertical industry it has been designed for and has received strong acceptance from early testers.

This position can begin as part time but is expected to grow to full time. Vermont Computing, Inc. will assist with product training and will be responsible for marketing materials. All other functions will be the responsibility of the Account Manager. Once the clients are signed on, minimal effort will be required to retain them as the product is easy to use and affordable. Once initial R&D is paid off, a large amount of funds will be reinvested to provide additional features, making the product even more valuable and easier to sell.

Sales experience is a plus but not required. Self-motivation is a must. The right candidate will thrive in an independent position and enjoy working with non-technical people. Moderate internet knowledge required as are basic computer skills. Employee will be required to telecommute or work from home sometimes, though periodic store meetings will be required. This position requires access to a reliable vehicle.

General Products and Services Account Manager (Southern Territory)

Vermont Computing, Inc. is looking for a sales person (account manager) to add to our team. This involves seeking out new customers and maintaining their satisfaction. Essentially, a liaison between the technical staff and the customer. Account Managers are given geographic territories to manage and this position covers the area south of Randolph – Bethel to Hanover/Lebanon and the surrounding areas.

Compensation includes a generous commission; employee discount and a healthy bonus program make this an excellent opportunity for an aggressive individual. Compensation of $75,000+ is not unrealistic. There is no draw, advance or signing bonus for this position.

A strong work ethic, ability to multitask, desire to succeed, ability to prioritize rapidly and complete tasks timely are all musts. A moderate level of experience with computing technology is required; this can be through any number of prior experiences, including but not limited to formal education.

Position is intended as a work from home or other telecommuting function. Though some time will be required at our office, no permanent office at VCI will be offered.
